Why choose Clarissa Wong?
Immigration law is highly complex and technical. My practice is focused exclusively in U.S. immigration and naturalization law. I am passionate about my work and I constantly strive to consistently deliver high quality and personalized immigration services.
I have advised large to small corporations, start-up companies and entrepreneurial individuals on all aspects of temporary worker visa petitions and employment-based green card applications, including the Labor Certification (or PERM) process.
I have extensive experience managing diverse immigration cases and I am highly proficient in handing complex immigration matters, including H-1Bs, L-1s, TNs, E-3s, J-1s, employment-based green card applications, marriage/family-based green card applications, K-1s, I-751s, and naturalization applications.
I was previously a supervising attorney at an immigration law firm in San Francisco, CA that focused primarily in business-based immigration. Prior to that, I worked as an Immigrant’s Rights’ Fellow at the International Institute of the Bay Area where I prepared special crime victims U-Visa, VAWA, and U-Adjustment of Status applications. I also volunteer at various non-profit immigration clinics where I provide guidance regarding family immigration, refugee/asylum based adjustment of status, naturalization, DACA/DAPA and deportation.
I earned my Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles. I graduated cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from the University of California, Irvine with a double major in Criminology, Law and Society and Political Science. I was inducted into Pi Sigma Alpha, the National Political Science Honor Society, based on nominations by my professors and on my academic merit, and was included in the National Dean’s Honor List.
I am a member of the California Bar Association and the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA).
